New Legislation for 2012
Rep Lloyd Doggett of Texas (D) and Sander Levin (D-MI), along with 51 other co-sponsors, have introduced new legislation to extend the current federal EUC Tiers and EB benefits program through 2012 in House bill HR 3346. The full text is not yet available on Open Congress as I post this, but more details about the bill can be found in press releases, such as this one:
http://democrats.waysandmeans.house.gov/press/PRArticle.aspx?NewsID=11929
As far as I know so far, the bill does not provide anything for those who have exhausted all four tiers and EB, but I cannot be sure of this until the full text is out. And in any case, the bill could potentionally help millions of people whose benefits will expire either on Dec 31 or shortly after that.
Personally, I think this bill is dead on arrival, under the current political circumstances. But then you never know, it has a few added inducements to the states, reducing their interest payments and other provisions that might lead to some wrangling for offsets against the cost, etc.
The corresponding Senate bill is S.1804.

New legislation for benefits possible
It's just talk right now, but according to this article, there may be some possibility of new legislation for extending benefits past December, along with a continuation of the payroll tax holiday.
Payroll tax cut, jobless aid deal likely: aides

This is the only thing I've seen so far that rumors to actually have hope of bipartisan support.

HR 3346 now on OpenCongress.org
Open Congress now has the details for HR 3346 up on their site.
http://www.opencongress.org/bill/112-h3346/show
You can comment on the bill there also, and OC has new tools that make it easy for you to email all your Congressmen at once (membership is free, just your email address for login, and anyone can read their pages.)
They keep track of all news and blog articles about individual bills. I've found their lists aren't always complete, but it's a start, and anyone can notify them of more news on a bill. Of note, I saw this article about opposing forces against HR 3346:
http://yubanet.com/usa/Proposal-Reduces-Federal-Jobless-Benefits-by-More-than-Half-for-Unemployed-Workers-in-Highest-Unemployment-States.php
With Tea Party Republicans holding sway in the House, this article is about their counter-proposal bill, HR3630, which would slash benefits, especially in states like Florida.
The way things have been going, this is just a stand by the House, which probably won't get through the Senate, IMO. So we're back to standstill, square one. Look for other bills as well, or some trend to compromise with a merged bill. So far the news I hear is that Republicans want to pack any unemployment bill with legislation about the new pipeline. Here's a blog article on that:
